What you get

Built for the way Google Docs actually works.

A Document Per Meeting

Mavio creates a new Google Doc from a finished meeting, with the summary, the decisions, the action items, and the full speaker-attributed transcript below them.

Or Append To A Running Doc

Point Mavio at an existing document and each meeting is appended to it instead. Useful for a weekly log, a single client file, or a project journal that should read as one thread.

Real Formatting, Not A Text Dump

Headings, bold owners, and structured action-item lists are written as real Google Docs formatting, so the document is editable and navigable rather than a wall of pasted text.

Charts Embedded In Place

Where a meeting skill produces a chart, Mavio embeds the image into the document at the point it belongs, then removes the temporary upload it used to get it there.

Setup

Live in a minute, not a meeting.

01

Connect Google Docs

In Mavio, open Settings > Integrations and choose Google Docs. Sign in with Google and grant document access. Mavio can create and write documents; it cannot browse the ones you already have.

02

Choose A Destination

Pick a Drive folder for new documents, or nominate one existing document to append to. You can set this per workspace or per meeting skill.

03

Let It Run

Add Google Docs as a destination on a meeting skill and every matching meeting writes itself out automatically, or export a single meeting on demand.

Google Docs + Mavio in detail.

Google Docs + Mavio

For teams whose written record lives in Google Docs, this is where a meeting ends up: a real document, formatted, in the folder you nominated, without anyone pasting a transcript into it.

Two shapes

A document per meeting. Mavio creates a new Doc named after the meeting, with the summary first, then decisions, then action items with owners and due dates, then the full speaker-attributed transcript. This is the default, and it suits client calls, interviews, and anything you might need to find on its own later.

One document, appended. Nominate an existing Doc and each meeting is added to the end of it. A weekly leadership log, a single file per account, or a project journal reads better as one continuous document than as forty separate ones.

What the permission covers

Mavio requests documents for Google Docs and drive.file for Drive. drive.file is the per-file Drive scope: it restricts an application to files it created itself, or that you explicitly opened with it. It is not access to your Drive.

So Mavio can write a document and put it where you asked. It cannot open the rest of your documents, search your Drive, or read anything it did not create. If a meeting skill generates a chart, Mavio uploads the image, embeds it in the document, and deletes the upload — the file exists for as long as the embed takes.

Formatting

The document is built through the Google Docs API as structured content, not as a blob of text. Headings are headings, so the document outline works; owners are bold; action items are lists. That matters because the document is a starting point — most teams edit it, and an editable document has to be shaped like one.

Privacy

Google user data from this integration is used only to write the documents you asked for. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train models. See mavioapp.com/google-data for the full disclosure.
